Earlier on June 11, 2026 the 'South Africa Must Go' movement marched on MTN's Ghana headquarters in Accra accusing South Africa of mistreating fellow Africans. MTN joined Business Unity South Africa and Business Leadership South Africa in warning that hostility toward foreign nationals harms South Africa's economic interests.
