Poppy Gustafsson was appointed Minister of State for Investment by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in October 2024. Created life peer as Baroness Gustafsson to sit in House of Lords. House of Lords Appointments Commission complained it was only given 48 hours to vet her before announcement.
