IntuitIntuit expanded IDEAS small-business accelerator nationally with National Urban League, targeting Black- and Latino-owned businesses

Intuit launched its 'IDEAS' (Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate, Scale) small-business accelerator in June 2023 in partnership with the Los Angeles Urban League, providing 25-30 Black- and Latino-owned LA businesses a year of free bookkeeping/tax/marketing support, business coaching, and a $10,000 completion grant. On July 9, 2025, Intuit expanded the program nationally in partnership with the National Urban League to 9 cities (adding Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, New York City and San Diego to the existing Los Angeles, Atlanta and Philadelphia cohorts), plus a dedicated veteran/military-spouse cohort, reaching 250+ additional small business owners with free access to Intuit's platform (QuickBooks, Mailchimp, TurboTax, Credit Karma), a technology hardware grant, executive/business coaching, and a cash grant of at least $5,000 upon completing the 12-month program. Intuit reports (self-measured, not independently audited) that prior participants saw an average 23% revenue increase and saved 16.5 hours/month.
